The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, Costa Coffee, is granting all our wishes this Christmas with the launch of its sumptuous limited-edition Christmas menu, in stores NOW!
With its iconic Christmas cups marking the official start of the festive season, this year’s menu is overflowing with new festive delights and returning fan favourites; helping you enjoy the spirit of togetherness this Christmas.
The Irish Velvet Range
The real showstopper this Christmas season is the all-new Irish Velvet range, which includes the luxurious Irish Velvet Latte, decadent Irish Velvet Hot Chocolate and indulgent Irish Velvet Frostino. These Christmas creations combine hints of caramel and heavenly vanilla – the perfect Irish Coffee flavour drink.
Spice and All Things Nice
Fans of spice and all things nice will have their Christmas wishes granted this year, with the introduction of the new Festive Spiced Cappuccino. This classic Cappuccino is seasoned with a host of aromatic spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise, for a drink that feels more festive with every sip.
The new festive showstoppers join Costa Coffee’s much-loved returning fan favourites; including Black Forest & Cream Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread and Hazelnut Praline, all available as lattes or hot chocolate.
‘Tis the Season for Handcrafted Drinks
Top of the wish list is the Winter Character Roast making a much-anticipated return to this year’s menu. A perfect base for any of the Costa core coffee range, this special blend contains aromas of warming spices, winter berries and dark cocoa to give your favourite coffee a very special Christmas twist.
Launching for the first time is the limited-edition Christmas Tea; a blend of Sri Lankan tea leaves and aromatic Winter Spice. The Hot Spiced Apple is the perfect winter warmer, now served with a slice of lemon for added winter zest.
Seasonal Sweet Treats
For a surprise you can unwrap early, the new Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin is your favourite stocking filler re-imagined. Exclusive to Costa Coffee, this sumptuous chocolate muffin is a chocoholics dream, filled with chocolate orange sauce and topped with a delicious segment of the iconic chocolate orange.
Good Housekeeping Institute Taste Approved Mince Pie and Costa’s vegan and gluten free Mince Tart are also re-joining the sweet line up.
Those wishing for a little slice of luxury this Christmas should opt for this year’s showstopper; the new Black & White Forest Wreath Cake – an unmistakably festive treat consisting of chocolate sponge with sweetened cherries topped with buttercream, sour cherries and dark chocolate.
For a treat we know yule love, try the Salted Caramel Yule Log – a chocolate sponge hand rolled with chocolate flavour buttercream, covered with a milk chocolate frosting and finished with lustred chocolate decorations and a salted caramel drizzle. Also snowballing into stores is the Clementine & Mascarpone Loaf Cake – a beautiful balance of sweet, rich cream and tart, zesty orange.
Costa Coffee’s Christmas elves have also been hard at work, developing a range of delicious cake and biscuit characters, including the new Penelope Polar Bear Cake, Peter Penguin Shortcake and Father Christmas Mallow Gingerbread for all to enjoy.
More Reasons to be Merry
Is Christmas even Christmas without roasted turkey and all the trimmings? On the menu this year is the all-new British Turkey & Trimmings Toastie and British Turkey Feast Baguette, jam-packed with succulent turkey breast, British Beechwood Smoked Bacon, Sage & Onion Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce.
These delicious new additions join returning fan favourites, including the raved-about British Pigs & Blankets Mac & Cheese, British Beef & Caramelised Onion Baguette and Brie, Bacon & Cranberry Panini, all back with new and improved recipes.
A Vegan Celebration
This Christmas, Costa Coffee has unveiled an extended range of delicious vegan options too. New for this year is the Vegan Society approved Veggies Under Vest Sandwich, a vegan lunch option filled with falafel and parsnip stuffing, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and fresh spinach.
Be sure to save room for the vegan sweet treats too, including the Vegan and Gluten Free Mince Tart, new Vegan Rocky Road and Gluten Free and Vegan Rich Fruit Christmas Cake Slice, all making their Christmas menu debut.
