Welcome to Garden Square Shopping Centre, Letchworth’s premiere shopping destination. Situated in the heart of the world’s first Garden City, the centre is home to a wide range of national and local retailers including great names like Superdrug, Boots, New Look, Peacocks and Costa Coffee.

Garden Square is an open and modern single level shopping precinct, conveniently connected to other parts of the town via the centre’s cruciform designed walkways, Commerce Way and Central Approach. It also benefits from a 400 space multi-storey car park which adjoins the centre.

Getting Here

By Car: The centre can be found  from Junction 9 of the A1 (M). Located 25 minutes away from Junction 23 of the M25 or Junction 10 of the M1 via the A505, bringing you directly into Letchworth Garden City.

By Bus: Letchworth, Gernon Road (STOP F) is situated adjacent to the centre’s Gernon Road entrance with a regular local bus service serving the surrounding area. For information on routes and timetables visit Intalink’s website.

By Train: The centre is a 4 minute walk from Letchworth Garden City train station, with fast services from London Kings Cross and Cambridge taking just 25 minutes to reach Letchworth. For schedule information please visit the TrainLine website.

Parking

Garden Square Shopping Centre has a multi-storey car park open Monday to Sunday (FREE on Sundays) located at Rowland Way SG6 3JF. The car park is managed by North Herts Council and more information can be found here.

Centre Toilets

Toilets, including disabled and children’s changing facilities are located behind Costa Coffee near the entrance to the multi-storey car park.

Amazon & InPost Lockers

Garden Square Shopping Centre has teamed up with Amazon & InPost to make collecting & sending parcels easy. The Lockers are located at the side of Peacocks.
